Folio
These terms apply to your use of Folio — Voice Notebook (“Folio”) on iPhone, published by RSA Labs (“we”, “us”). By using Folio you agree to these terms.
1. The app
Folio is a voice recording and study app. Features depend on your device, iOS version, and whether you have Folio Premium. We may update or discontinue features over time.
2. Your responsibility when recording
You are responsible for complying with local laws when recording conversations, lectures, and meetings. Some jurisdictions require consent from everyone being recorded. Folio does not provide legal advice.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of recordings and study materials you create. Content is stored on your device unless you choose to share or export it. We do not claim ownership of your recordings.
4. Folio Premium
Premium is a lifetime in-app purchase processed by Apple. Prices are shown in the App Store for your region. All billing, refunds, and purchase restoration are handled under Apple’s terms. Use Restore purchases in Folio when signed into the Apple ID that made the purchase.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Folio to record others unlawfully, harass others, or attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the app. We may terminate access where required by law or App Store policy.
6. Disclaimers
Folio is provided “as is.” AI-generated summaries, flashcards, and transcripts may contain errors. Verify important information independently. Folio is not a substitute for professional, medical, or legal advice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RSA Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Folio. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Folio Premium in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how Folio handles information. It is incorporated into these terms.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after the “Last updated” date means you accept the revised terms.
